Thanks for visiting MuñozCatering.com. My name is David Muñoz. As part of the family behind Dolores Canning Co., Inc., I grew up with catering in my blood. I have great memories of helping out my Grandfather Basilio “Bert” Muñoz and my Father Augustine “Augie” Muñoz on their catering events as I grew up. Many times we’d serve groups of over 1200 people.
Besides running a Mexican food manufacturing company, our family has always done catering as a fun “side business’. Usually our catering services grew by “word of mouth” mostly through friends and family.
Many of the events we cater for are birthdays, weddings, and fundraisers throughout Southern California. And for over 25 years our specialty has been our famous Muñoz Marinated Skirt Steak (Carne Asada). This is a Beef Skirt Steak marinated for three days in a secret family recipe. This recipe was originally created by my Grandfather and the Founder of Dolores Canning Co., Inc. in Los Angeles. Although our specialty is the Marinated Skirt Steak (Carne Asada) we also offer a wide variety of Mexican Food, Traditional American BBQ and specialty menus (Hawaiian, Italian, etc.). We also take special requests. You name it and we’ll cook it up for you at the location of your choice!
We also specialize in catering for large groups. Our professional staff is well trained at handling groups of 500 people and up. We are able to plan, coordinate and execute events for corporate picnics and group fundraisers. Besides offering complete party planning services (rental equipment, bartender service, staffing and entertainment) our staff will set up multiple serving lines to expedite serving (for example over 600 people per hour).
